About the studio

The person behind the peninsula studio, the home office up the road, and the way projects run.

Tega Cay Web Studio is a Mooresville Marketing company. The whole operation is Roger Johnson, working out of Mooresville, North Carolina, up in Iredell County. Dial the number on this site and the voice that answers belongs to the same person who will sketch, word and code your pages.

Roger, in brief

Roger stays on a job from the opening phone conversation to long after the site goes live. He studies what you have online today, including your Google listing, prices the work, shapes the copy alongside you and writes the code line by line. Nobody sits between you and him, and no hidden designer picks up the project halfway.

How the studio works

  • A written, locked-in quote comes first.
  • Hand-written code on every page, never a theme or drag-and-drop builder.
  • Honest advice, even when it's “you can handle that yourself”.
  • Everything registered to you: the domain, the Google listing, the analytics.
  • Only real reviews, and no promised spot on page one.

Why a Mooresville studio for Tega Cay?

We'd rather be upfront about our address than pretend to have a desk near Gold Hill Road. The drive from Mooresville to Tega Cay runs roughly 46 miles, a little over an hour one way. So nearly every project runs on calls, email and shared screens, which tends to fit an owner's busy week better than sitting in a meeting. If a face-to-face visit would really move things along, Roger will make the trip down.

What carries over well is the lake. Mooresville sits on Lake Norman, and Roger has done search work for a lake-area agent there. Waterfront towns have a lot in common, from seasonal busy stretches to neighborhoods people search for by name.

Take a look at the selected work, read the client words, or go straight to starting a project.

Got a business near the lake? Say hello.

Two or three sentences will do. Roger checks your existing website or map listing, then emails back the first change he'd tackle, plus a locked-in price whenever you're ready for one.
